Ballawyllin Farm Cottage

Ballawyllin Farm Cottage is a refurbished 19th century Manx stone cottage, with one bedroom (king sized double bed), spacious lounge/dining room with wood-fired stove and widescreen Smart TV with Freesat, internet/wifi connection, kitchen (including dishwasher, washing machine and dryer) and shower room.  

The cottage is set in the grounds of Ballawyllin Farm overlooking our orchard.  It has its own parking area and an outside patio area for relaxing and enjoying the spectacular view up the Baldwin Valley, local birdlife and wildlife. A gas fired barbecue is available. There is an outdoor cedar hot tub on the patio outside the cottage. 

The cottage is single storey but due to its origins as a farm building constructed on a slope it has uneven floors, and steps between the rooms.  It is therefore unsuitable for those with physical disabilities.

The cottage has received a grading of 4* with Gold Accolade for quality and services.  Pricing includes towels, electricity, and gas.  In the winter we provide one bag of logs for the fire for every two nights' stay.  Weekend breaks (min 2 nights, starting either Friday or Saturday) are available in off-peak periods.  Shorter stays during the week are also available in the winter months. 

Ballawyllin Farm Cottage usually sleeps two adults.  We can occasionally accommodate an additional guest (min age 8) on the sofa bed in the living area.  Please contact us for availability and pricing of this option.
