About Us

Ballawyllin Farm is owned and run by Neil and Graciela Taverner.  Neil grew up on the Island and can trace his Manx ancestry back though his mother's line to the 1600s near Laxey, and Graciela is from Mexico.  We speak both Spanish and French.  We have a family of three children, plus two cats, flock of 12 chickens and four beehives, and enjoy sharing Ballawyllin with local wildlife including rabbits, hedgehogs, house martins, woodcock, pheasants and pipistrelle bats.  We grow our own apples, plums, and blackberries, and are in the process of expanding to a wider range of fruit, vegetables and herbs.
