The Isle Of Man
Welcome to the beautiful Isle of Man
Situated between the coastlines of England, Scotland, Ireland and Wales, in the middle of the Irish Sea, you’ll find our beautiful Island. Blessed with an extensive coastline, stunning natural landscapes and unspoilt beaches, the Isle of Man is a perfect holiday destination that’s within easy reach of the rest of the British Isles. Visit the Island and you’ll find a place full of contrasts and character. Whether you’re looking for an action packed break, relaxing holiday or the perfect family holiday destination, you’ll find it here.
The Island is not part of the UK, but a crown dependency, with its own independent government. The Island's Parliament, Tynwald, has its roots in the Viking traditions brought to us over 1000 years ago, and is the world's oldest parliament in continuous existence. It originally met at Cronk y Keeill Abban, just behind Ballawyllin Farm, at the energetic centre of the Island.
With a wealth of things to see and do, places to visit and a packed entertainment programme - whether you’re passionate about history and culture, wildlife, sport or heritage transport - you’ll never be short of something to do.
